. 1 ERC Funded Position for a Postdoctoral Fellow - Catarina Homem's Lab

1 ERC funded position for a postdoctoral fellow is currently open for a highly motivated candidate to join the Proliferation and Fate Regulation of Stem Cells Lab.

The research project aims to study how neural and adult stem cell fate is regulated by transcriptional networks and metabolism using the fruit fly as a model. The project includes state of the art methodologies, access to dedicated equipment and an interactive team with international collaborations.

Applications start on May 1st and will continue until the position is filled.

. iNOVA4Health PhD Fellowships in Translational Medicine - Miguel Seabra's Lab

There is an open call for 12 PhD fellowships in Translational Medicine that will take place at iNOVA4Health (iBet, CEDOC, IPOLFG and ITQB).

The research activities leading to obtaining the academic degree of doctor from selected scholarship holders must be developed within the scope of the following Doctoral Programs: Doctoral Program in Health Sciences (coordinated by Miguel Seabra, principal investigator of the Molecular Mechanisms of Disease Group), PhD Programme in Cellular Therapies and Regenerative Medicine (iBET, IST, ITQB-NOVA, NMS, IMM)and PhD Program in Molecular Biosciences (ITQB- NOVA, iBET, FCT-NOVA, IGC).

. FCT PhD Fellowship - Helena Soares' Lab

The Human Immunobiology and Pathogenesis Group, led by Helena Soares, has two projects proposals available for an application to a FCT PhD fellowship.

The group aims to elucidate T cell involvemente in protecttive imune resposes (project 1) and in autoimmune diseases (project 2) in Human samples.

. FCT PhD Fellowship - Rosalina Fonseca's Lab

Two projects proposals suitable for an application to a FCT PhD fellowship, under the supervision of Rosalina Fonseca from the Cellular and Systems Neurobiology Group, CEDOC, NMS. The group aims to address the rules of memory dynamics, using electrophysiology, behaviour and optogenetic approaches.

. Postdoctoral Position at the Membrane Traffic in Infection and Disease Group - Duarte Barral Lab

The Membrane Traffic in Infection and Disease Group is looking for a highly motivated postdoc who should have a PhD in Biology or related areas, a strong expertise in cell biology, a competitive publication record, the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team and train students and should also have an excellent knowledge of English. The selection will begin on January 1st and will continue until a suitable candidate is found.

. 2 Postdoctoral Positions - Catarina Homem Lab

2 ERC funded positions for postdoctoral fellows are currently open for a highly motivated candidates to join the Proliferation and Fate Regulation of Stem Cells Lab.
The positions are initially funded for one year, with possibilities of extension until the end of the project. Applications start on September 1st and will continue until the positions are filled.

Position 1 - The research project aims to study how stem cells are regulated by metabolism and nutrition using the fruit fly as a model.
Position 2 – Ideally for researchers with a bioinformatic background. The research project aims to do extensive bioinformatic analysis of large sequencing data sets.

. Pre-Call | Post-Doc Contract – Cláudia N. Santos Lab

Full-time ERC funded position with a competitive salary (2385Euros) in Molecular nutrition and Cellular Neurosciences.

Initially, the position will be funded for six months, renewable up to the end of the ERC project.

. Post-Doctoral position - Otília Vieira Lab

A Posdoctoral research contract is available in the Lysosomes in Chronic Human Pathologies and Infection Lab at CEDOC. The posdoc will work on the pro-atherogenic potential of a novel family of oxidized lipids, identified by shotgun lipidomics in cardiovascular disease patients, in cells and animal models. The potential on these lipids in prognosis and diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases will also be assessed. This project will be carried together with cardiologists from Hospital Santa Cruz, Carnaxide (Lisbon area) and a German Lipidomics company.
